Destroy ALL the things!

I hate technology.

I just finished a whole hour to two hours of work on my latest vlog, wishing Charlie a happy birthday when Movie Maker decided to crash and obliterate all my work. All that video recording was for nothing now because I refuse to restart that now. The camerawork done by a friend of mine was already bad and the sound cut off the end of what people were saying and my own beginning part was really bad. It’s dark and I’m too quiet.

Additionally, to worsen my mood, I feel as though I’m coughing up a lung. This is worrying my parents, nearly preventing me from going to the thing I’ve been looking forward to all of September. Rage. Games, consoles, tech, computery stuff, nerd stuff. Awesomeness in one, basically. And now my chance of going have been slimmed.

The rest of my day was actually quite pleasant. It’s break-up day for all the governmental South African schools, so I have a week to chill now. Then it’s fourth term, in which I have finals, lots of work and much upsetness in general.
Because of break-up day, I went home with Giulia and we began watching Across The Universe, which was interesting. Oh, and she wants me to marry her 12 year old brother, an occurrence that will never happen. She’s so weird.

Tomorrow is Doctor Who!

This week is never-ending. I can’t even remember when Monday happened.

Now to go read the Hunger Games and hold a terrible grudge on everything again.

It’s almost over!

September. Doctor Who. School term. Charlie’s year of 20.

I need to still finish my birthday video for him. Ahh. He’s 21 on the 1st of October.

I’m currently reading this thing:
hunger games
The Hunger Games is a great page turner that I have not been able to put down since I began it yesterday. Despite the slight disturbing post apocalyptic atmosphere in which teenagers are pressured to participate in a game in which they must kill each other on national television, it is thrilling and brilliant. I will definitely continue the trilogy.

Yet another day of absence for me as I am ill.

I am sitting at the edge of my metaphorical seat in desperation for the finale episode of Doctor Who coming this Saturday.
Gosh, Saturday is going to be such a busy day for me.
I have to get my passport really early in the morning from the home affairs office. Then I’m going to Rage, a video games and computer convention for which I am extremely excited. Then I shall attend the joint birthday party of two friends from school. I also need to post my birthday video for Charlieissocoollike. I would also like to see some of the live streaming from StickAid to see Charlie live. Then I still need to see Doctor Who somewhere in that busy schedule.

Now to watch a large amount of Youtube videos just to finish off my day. I have recently found wheezywaiter and have become hooked on his comedy. So fascinating.

And another thing, I fecently forgot how to spell decision. That is the brilliance of my friends and I.

Aah! Another thing! Over this 10 day holiday I have to make a poster about war and because I’m such a nerd, I’m doing my project on the war against the Doctor.

Hello Mrs. Paper Cat.

So, I seem to be bored.
Or I’ve had a massive intake of sugar.
I think it’s both.
Just look at what I have posted to Facebook recently.
“Don't you think the tissue is making sense, Mr. Ukulele mug? Paint and highlighters are such pretty flavours.”
“‎80% on a cycle test. The kettle fairies will be proud. Stormaggedon and the art gallery are in much agreement on the creation of purple. Why, thank you Mr. Circle-Box.”

Ginger or red???

Medicine is funny. It sings funny pencils about cat mugs and eating cupboards. Pencils are friends, not food.
Smile, smile smile…
Hello! It’s Miss Paperclip! She says the rain is very dry today. Don’t you agree?
No, that is not a worm on my pencil. It’s a pencil on my worm.

Let’s go outside and think in the box, shall we?

And that concludes a short session of my insanity.
Will this week ever end? Will x fall in love with y? Stay tuned till next time to find out all about our drastic tales.

On a side note, I am really, really, REALLY looking forward to Doctor Who on Saturday because we finally know whether the Doctor dies or not.
Saturday, why are you so evasive?
I still need to make Charlie’s birthday video.

Ok, so as not to bore you (ha!), I’ll say goodbye now since I could carry on all night.

Picture time!

Hi, I haven’t posted in a little while.
This post is coming in a written part and some pictures will follow.
Firstly, I’m sick. I’ve been coughing and my lungs are sore.
Secondly, I am getting a proper ukulele soon which makes me a happy cat.
Thirdly, today is Doctor Who Saturday, which makes me an even happier cat.
I have decided on several things as well recently.
For example, my hair colour over December. This red that belonged to Charlieissocoollike:
charlie's hairIt’s such an awesome colour.
Another decision is this: I want to play the game Portal 2. It looks awesome. Time to start looking for it.
More decisions, ah! I’m glad that we’re moving to Germany now. (Oh by the way, we’re moving to Germany) The motivation for this is that I’ll be closer to the UK and I’ll be able to find more Whovians and Nerdfighters.
Okay, enough decisions for today. More random happy items and stuff.
Have I mentioned that Chameleon Circuit is AWESOME??? Well, they are!
In other news, I found a Star Wars LEGO book yesterday at the local bookshop. It has LEGO blocks in it and you can build a little Clone Wars era clone and a battle droid and some cute little spaceships and tanks. I have built 2 of them.
100_0076Here they are among my Doctor Who and my drawing books and stuff.
I also took a little collection of photographs with my new camera, so here they are:
100_0081100_0089100_0091100_0092100_0093100_0094100_0107100_0112100_0113100_0114100_0117100_0120100_0122100_0130100_0168100_0170100_0171Yes, it’s all very random, just like me.

So I think that concludes today’s blog post. I hope to soon have vlogs as well.

Today is Christmas.

I have officially reinstated today as Christmas.
My Chameleon Circuit CDs and T-shirt arrived along with my DFTBA wristband. I also got a camera, with which I took this picture:
I am currently wearing my Still Got Legs T-shirt as well.
I also got a ukulele! Sure, it’s not the best ukulele in the world, but it’s a temporary one. It also has some whacky, awesome Engrish on it. The above picture is of this awesome musical instrument.
I am very happy.
Additionally, I have some friends over today to sleep over and watch some awesome movies. Two of which are already here.
Gotta go and have some fun now!

Parktown Politics

For English, on the topic of fairy-tales, we had to make little TV show interviews for our class. On the whole it was funny, but what added to the hilarity of the situation was that, since we had to choose an existing character and bring them to life, some people were placed in odd situations. For example, I was Gretel from Hansel and Gretel. Then, a friend of mine played the witch that Gretel kills in an oven. So, basically, I pushed my friend into an oven. Another hilarious example was that my friend Claudia played Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk. Then, another girl played the prince that Cinderella married who was now divorced due to Jack stealing Cinderella away from him/her (just for context, I am at an all-girls school). When she said that we all looked at Claudia and she just shrunk away into her table, seemingly guilty for something she hadn’t done. So that is the politics of my school.

I am finally expanding my social life by about a centimetre. I am having a sleep over with my friends, but nothing all weird and girly like one would expect. Rather, we are going to chill in the lounge and watch awesome movies. I’m really excited. Unfortunately, I have SO many projects to complete/work on before then.

I am glad to say that we have ordered the Chameleon Circuit albums from DFTBA records and I am waiting in hope for the day to come. Since I ordered it over a week  ago and the orders out of the USA take between 14 and 30 days, I have less than a month now before I see the CD’s, a Still Got Legs T-shirt and a DFTBA wristband. Yay!

Oh, by the way, I’m currently writing a book. I think it’ll be great, when finished, whenever that will be. It’s called The Secret Diary Of A Spontaneous Shape-Shifter. So excited for it to be finished. But no spoilers just yet.

I am currently reading I Am Number Four and as good as the story is, the writing is not that good. I always love a good Sci-fi, but lets be realistic now. A planet 5 times smaller than Earth has huge people larger than humans and their planet is twice as big as the main characters home planet. Oh and apparently, this author does not realise how BIG the universe is and seems to believe that there are only 18 life sustaining planets in the ENTIRE universe. C’mon, let’s be realistic here. How is that possible? But besides that, I think it’s quite okay and it’s an easy read. I definitely won’t recommend it to someone who is looking for a long, challenging read though.

That’s it for this evening.
4 days to the next episode of Doctor Who. The previous two have been great, by the way.
